The Nominating Committee for the purpose of nominating persons for the office of Elder and Deacon shall be composed of two (2) Elders designated by the Session, one who is currently serving the Session who will moderate the committee. One (1) member from the Board of Deacons, and members of the Congregation in numbers sufficient to constitute a majority of the committee, none of whom may be in active service in the Session. One of the Session representatives will be the Chair and the Pastor will serve ex-officio and without vote. (G.14.0201b) 2. The nominating committee shall be chosen annually and no member of the committee shall serve more than three (3) years consecutively. (G.14.0201b) 3.
